In 1995, Pherosynthèse was created, a research and development laboratory specialized in the field of chemical communication in the living world. Pherosynthèse gave birth, in 2010, to the Research Institute in Semiochemistry and Applied Ethology (IRSEA).

The identification of chemical signals involved in animal life makes it possible to develop new therapeutic and zootechnical tools that are respectful of humans, animals and the environment.
