Semiochemistry
The term “semiochemical” refers to all the chemical signals emitted by living beings. There are three main types of signals: pheromones, allelochemicals and apneumones
- Pheromones, intraspecific semiochemicals
- Interspecific semiochemicals “allelochemicals”
- “Apneumones” emitted by dead tissues
